Bindery is a complete, mobile-first audiobook player that runs in the browser and installs to the home screen like a native app.

It's one index.html file of plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript: no React, no npm, no build tools. Drop it on Vercel, Netlify or any static host and it works. It's a finished, working app, ready to use as-is, rebrand, or build on.

REQUIREMENTS

Any static web host with https (Vercel and Netlify free tiers work). Basic HTML and CSS knowledge is enough to rebrand it.

GOOD TO KNOW

• It's a web app (PWA), not an App Store app.

• Discover uses Audible's public catalogue, which isn't an official API. It can be switched off with one setting.

• The kit plays public-domain and user-supplied audio only.

FAQ

Can I use it in a client project or an app I sell?

Yes. You can't resell the kit itself as a template.

Do I need a server or database?

No. Everything is stored in the listener's browser.

Do I get updates?

Yes, free.
